Have you heard about CCG? (Cardiovascular Cartography) It is a heart function test. Recently my friend just undergo a CCG procedure in India and the doctor found he has 3 blocks. He completed the treatment and just came back to Malaysia. It cost him about RM12,000.00 for the whole stay and treatment there in the hospital. Isnt that cheap compare to other procedure? Anyway what is CCG?
Cardiovascular Cartography (CCG) is a new technique for the early detection of coronary artery disease and also for the evaluation of functional status of heart and myocardial blood flow. This equipment is the only diagnostic tool of its kind in the medical field today. Some of the informations obtained by cartography was never possible non-invasively earlier.
3D CCG has substantial scientific data on the equipment's accuracy and safety. It has a positive predictive accuracy of 98.28% and a negative predictive accuracy of 82.16% 'with a mean accuracy of 91%. It is a patented technology both in India and abroad.
This technology has obtained several international certifications and there are several centers in India and abroad providing this diagnostic facility. This technology is prevalent in seventeen countries like USA, UK, Canada, Hungry, Italy, Malaysia etc. Even the Manchester University Medical School of UK also uses this machine. It was also presented at 14th IEEE Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (CMBS'01) in 2001.
